ferne animal sanctuary entrance

Ferne Animal Sanctuary

Ferne Animal Sanctuary has been helping animals in need since World War II and is a wonderful place to visit if you’ve got animal lovers at home. The animals change regularly, so you never know what creatures you’ll meet next time: dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, birds, chinchillas or maybe something else… In fact, you can even adopt one of the animals and bring it home with you, if you’re ready to welcome a pet into your family.

Also, there’s a nature trail which leads you through the best parts of the 51-acre sanctuary, so you’ll get to experience the peaceful beauty of the Somerset countryside.
