Attraction Information

A 5 Star Visit Scotland Visitor Attraction, the exhibition has been open for over 30 years and consists of 6 themed rooms all telling their own story of Loch Ness from the beginning of time! A fascinating trip for kids of all ages, who will adore the sense of history and mystery combined!

There are many actual research exhibits from past expeditions such as 'Operation Deepscan' and The Loch Ness Project's submarine 'Machan' still believed to be the smallest in the world. The attraction bases itself on 'edutainment' and all children are issued with a free glowstick at the entrance. Pre and post work packs are available to download on the website through the DOWTK link to round off a very educational experience! Much of the content is aimed at the national curriculum for excellence.

There are a host of shops and hourly boat cruises departing in the summer months. The Drumnadrochit Hotel boats a huge cafe and bar and provides all the necessary refreshments one might like.
