NEW FOR 2024 - Gruffalo Party Trail!
Jeskyns is home to 360 acres of newly planted woodlands, meadows and orchards. With a good network of surfaced walking trails, children's play areas, café and even a dog activity trail, there is something for everyone to explore at any time of the year.
You can visit a Fairy and Elf Village, introduce the family to the Gruffalo and his friends, say hello to our cows, take the dog for a paddle or just sit and watch the world go by under wide skies full of singing skylarks. Things to do
Explore Jeskyns Community Woodlands on foot, cycle or on horseback, and travel across almost 16km of trails. The kids will have plenty of natural play features to keep them busy along the way. Make sure you try out the brand NEW Zog trail! Buy an activity pack for £4, download the free app, and collect golden stars throughout the trail. Will you make it to the end?
Did you know that there’s an elf and fairy village at Jeskyns? Right by the gate in the Sand Pit Play Area, you’ll find beautiful tiny fairytale houses, including Acorn Apartments, Mushroom Manor and The Old Boot Inn. Why not try out one of the magical woodland trails on your next family adventure? There are 360 acres of newly planted woodlands, meadows and orchards to explore.
Got a dog? Jeskyns Community Woodlands has a dog activity trail, so the four-legged members of your family can have loads of fun too!
Food & Drink After you've completed your adventure through grass paths and circular routes, why not head over to the Jeskyns Cafe? You can enjoy a wide variety of snacks, hot food and hot & cold drinks!
Grab your food from the cafe (it's a takeaway service) or bring your own food and set up camp in the picnic area. Take in the sounds of buzzing wildlife and breathe in the fresh countryside air.

Transport & Parking for Visitors
By Car
Jeskyns is just two minutes off the A2 dual carriageway. Take the Gravesend East turning off the A2 and follow directional signage to Sole Street. Pass over a railway bridge and the entrance is just 200m further on on the left-hand side.
By Public Transport
The closest bus routes are the Arriva 490 and 455. Both stop just the other side of the A2 and Jeskyns is a 15-minute walk from this point.
