Attraction Information

Jeskyns is home to 360 acres of newly planted woodlands, meadows and orchards. With a good network of surfaced walking trails, children's play areas, café and even a dog activity trail, there is something for everyone to explore at any time of the year.

You can visit a Fairy and Elf Village, introduce the family to the Gruffalo and his friends, say hello to our cows, take the dog for a paddle or just sit and watch the world go by under wide skies full of singing skylarks.

Curious much? Read on to uncover all the family adventures on offer at Jeskyns Community Forest...

Things to do
Explore Jeskyns Community Woodlands on foot, cycle or on horseback, and travel across almost 16km of trails. The kids will have plenty of natural play features to keep them busy along the way. Make sure you try out the brand NEW Zog trail! Buy an activity pack for £4, download the
free app, and collect golden stars throughout the trail. Will you make it to the end?

Did you know that there’s an elf and fairy village at Jeskyns? Right by the gate in the Sand Pit Play Area, you’ll find beautiful tiny fairytale houses, including Acorn Apartments, Mushroom Manor and The Old Boot Inn. Got a dog? Jeskyns Community Woodlands has a dog activity trail, so the four-legged members of your family can have loads of fun too!

 Food & Drink
After you've completed your adventure through grass paths and circular routes, why not head over to the Jeskyns Cafe? You can enjoy a wide variety of snacks, hot food and hot & cold drinks!
