Mini daredevils will have a blast conquering the thrilling Treetop Challenge, that's for sure! As they soar high in the canopy, with 360-degree views of their forest journey. Home to extreme obstacles like stirrups, the half-trapeze and the free-falling Tarzan Swing, you’ll breathe a sigh of relief when you reach the breathtaking zip line finale - or will you? Oh and for you zipline fanatics - this course is also home to the challenging skateboard zip, you definitely need nerves of steel!
Looking for an equally extreme adventure on the forest floor? Channel your inner warrior and take on the Axe Throwing - just remember you'll need brains as well as brawn to hit that all-important bullseye! It's the perfect stress reliever and bags of fun!

Due to the rural nature of our locations, postcodes are not always accurate when using Sat-Nav directions. Please always cross reference with a map. There is onsite parking at Go Ape Matfen.
By Bus
There is a bus service (the 74 and 75) running between Newcastle Eldon Square Stand H and Matfen village. This is about ½ mile from Go Ape. The buses run every two hours or so during the day. Phone 0870 608 2608 for up-to-date departure times.
