Attraction Information
Swing through the trees and fly down the zip wires while lapping up some of the finest scenery in Northumberland at Go Ape Matfen. Your mini daredevils (10+) will have a blast conquering the thrilling Treetop Challenge. Ready to go bananas?
Home to extreme obstacles like Stirrups, the Half Trapeze and free-falling Tarzan Swings, you’ll breathe a sigh of relief when you reach the zip wire finale - or will you? This course is also home to the challenging Skateboard Zip, we did warn you you’d need nerves of steel!
This course features a number of crossings depicting local landmarks, like the famous Tyne Bridge. There are even crossings which call on the Millennium and High level Bridge for inspiration. You won’t find these challenges anywhere else so even if it seems scary, have a go! The course was also the first Go Ape adventure to make its home within the grounds of a country house hotel, a fact which gives you a chance to explore 300 acres of manicured parkland.
