George Waterston Memorial Museum is in the former Fair Isle School, packed with displays of the islands history from prehistoric times to the present.
A guided tour is available on request, or you can browse the collection of photographs, documents and artefacts for a unique insight into Fair Isles past and a better understanding of its present.
It is located on Fair Isle, the most remote of Britains Islands, with lots to explore outdoors and this museum provides a great focus for exploration plus offers you some welcome respite from island weather too!
