Bod of Gremista and Textile Museum

Located in the 18^th century Böd of Gremista, birthplace of Arthur Anderson, co-founder of the P&O Shipping Company, the Shetland Textile Museum focuses on historical and contemporary Shetland textiles and their makers.

Displays include a restored working loom highlighting Shetland’s tweed industry, fair isle and lace knitting, and textiles by local makers.  It annually hosts the Degree Show by students at Shetland College.
