Is there parking at Go Ape Alice Holt?

Go Ape Alice Holt brings high ropes, giant nets and forest exploration together in one of Surrey’s best-loved woodland settings. Located near Farnham, Basingstoke and Guildford, it is a brilliant outdoor day out for families, groups and adventurers of all ages.

Take to the trees on one of three high ropes courses. Treetop Adventure is an entry-level course for children aged 4 to 10 who are over 1 metre tall, with crossings, ramps and zip wires designed to build confidence. Treetop Adventure Plus is for ages 6 and over, with higher platforms and a bigger challenge. For the most demanding experience, Treetop Challenge is for ages 10 and over and features tough obstacles and fast zip wires.

For an adventure without harnesses, Nets Adventure offers giant bouncy nets suspended high among the trees. It is suitable for children aged 3 to 11 and is a great option for younger families. You can also hire bikes and explore Alice Holt Forest’s trails on two wheels.

Allow time after your session to enjoy the wider forest. Alice Holt has waymarked walks, play areas, picnic spaces and a cafe near the visitor centre, so it is easy to turn your booking into a full family day out.

By Car

The peak time for card park is between 10am – 2pm. If you have a booking with us during that time, we advise that you arrive early.

By Train

The nearest station is at Bentley, approximately three miles from the Forest Centre. From here you can walk through Alice Holt Forest to the forest centre along public rights of way.

You can also take the train to Farnham and catch the Stagecoach number 18 bus to the Forest.

Important Information

Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked session to check in and complete the safety briefing. Booking ahead is recommended, especially at weekends and during school holidays. Complete the Risk Acknowledgement sent after booking before you arrive.

Go Ape Alice Holt is around 5 miles south of Farnham on the A325 towards Bordon. Parking is available in Alice Holt Forest’s main car park, with payment by card at pay stations or the exit barriers. The car park can be busy between 11am and 3pm, so allow extra time.

Check-in locations vary by activity. Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus check in at the cabin at the back of the main car park. Nets Adventure and Forest Biking check in at the activity centre beyond the visitor centre and cafe.

Treetop Adventure is for ages 4 to 10 and children over 1 metre tall. Treetop Adventure Plus is for ages 6 and over, Treetop Challenge is for ages 10 and over, and Nets Adventure is for ages 3 to 11. Check current height, weight and adult supervision requirements before booking.

Wear comfortable outdoor clothes and closed, sturdy shoes. Activities run in most weather conditions, so bring waterproof layers and clothing you do not mind getting muddy.
