If you are planning a visit before term restarts, book your session online as soon as possible as the venue operates on a bookings-only basis and peak slots sell out. The venue is currently running Swim to Win, an interactive game giving visitors the chance to win prizes during their session, and pool party packages are available for groups of up to 25, combining waterpark access with food. For families who need a quieter environment, Accessible Swim sessions run throughout the season with reduced capacity and SEN-trained lifeguards on poolside. Terror Torrent is described by the venue as one of the UK’s fastest indoor flumes, while Eruption has a minimum height of 1.2m and requires swimmers to be able to swim 50m unaided. Kraken offers a gentler family flume, and Splash Ahoy is a four-lane slide designed for racing.
Barnacle Bay is an interactive splash zone designed for young children, with a maximum height of 1.2m and adults allowed to accompany children in the pool. The Sunken Galleon also has a maximum height of 1.2m and combines shallow water, small slides, water cannons and a tipping bucket.
Free parking, changing rooms, lockers and free Wi-Fi all help make the visit easier. If you are not entering the pool, a public viewing balcony is available for spectators, subject to space.
