Welcome to a rural paradise with great family attractions - there are lots of brilliant things to do in Hereford for you to explore.
Wander through 350 acres of ancient woodland as butterflies and moths flutter around your head on one of the many trails. There are information boards along the way to tell you all about the species you’ll discover so you can learn to spot your favourite!
Situated on the banks of the beautiful River Wye, don’t forget to take your rackets on your Hereford family day out to have a game at Bishops Meadow tennis courts, score a home run on the rounder’s pitch and gain access to Castle Green and Castle Pool via a quaint footbridge.
Learn about how cider has been made over the years at The Cider Museum Hereford. See an old-fashioned cider press and 18th-century flutes. Children can learn all about the apple and even dress up in a 19th-century replica smock! For something a little softer, try The Waterworks Museum where you can look at the history of drinking water in the area.
Get creative at Manic Ceramics and make and paint your own pottery, or head to The Core where you can try activities such as roller-skating, futsal, laser tag and archery.
