Expert guides on every trip
A professional experienced guide accompanies you on the rock-face, while a logistics manager (also an experienced guide) supports from the ground. Both work together to ensure you descend safely and confidently.
This 3-hour abseiling experience takes place at Weem Forest near Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire, where you'll descend a vertical rock-face and overhang with the support of professional guides. All safety equipment (harnesses, helmets, belay devices, and dynamic ropes) is provided, along with transport from the Splash Rafting base.
The session is led by experienced instructors who guide you through each stage of the descent, from securing your harness to controlling your rope as you lower yourself down the rock. The route includes a vertical section and an overhang, giving you a genuine taste of outdoor adventure in a stunning Scottish forest setting.
You'll need to bring warm clothing and a waterproof jacket, as conditions can change quickly in the Highlands. A logistics manager remains on the ground throughout, and the full technical kit (worth over £150) is included in every trip.
