What to Expect...
The first GoCar San Diego harbor tour takes you on a multi-cultural tour of San Diego. Starting in Little Italy, where you’ll learn about San Diego’s Italian population, your tour continues past the maritime history museum, the USS Midway, and into beautiful Seaport Village. You’ll also get to travel past Horton Plaza, which just begs to be visited again after the tour ends.
After Horton Plaza, make your way into the heart of San Diego, with a quick loop around the home of the San Diego Padres and into the Historic Gaslamp Quarter, which after its reinvention is much more family-friendly then it used to be. As you leave the Gaslamp Quarter you’ll enter Banker’s Hill, filled with unique shops and bordering the beautiful Balboa Park.

Important Information
- Each GoCar holds a maximum of 2 people. Prices are per GoCar - not per person
- Renters must be 21 years of age or older, possess a major credit card and have a valid driver’s license in your physical possession
- Passengers must be 4 years of age or older - and small children must safely fit into one of the DOT approved helmets
- You may visit all or some of the tour’s highlights and customize your own adventure, therefore actual tour time may vary
- Other factors to consider when estimating travel time are the number of options taken, the number of stops made and the amount of time spent visiting landmarks
- Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental. Additional rental time will be charged in 15 minute increments
- Cars must be returned to the rental location before dusk
- During the time of rental, a security deposit will be held on a credit card until the GoCar is returned
- All reservations are for the original GoCar (known as a Standard GoCar), which has a 50CC engine and will travel between 20mph - 25mph while on the flat sections of the tour route
