Join this full day tour of Glenfinnan, Mallaig and Loch Ness, a must for any Harry Potter fan. Your tour departs from Inverness and travels south, hugging the shoreline of Loch Ness for the first stop of the day, Urquhart Castle. Enjoy a short time to take photos at this iconic place, with great views over Scotland's most famous loch, and perhaps you'll even spot Nessie!
Your Harry Potter tour moves on, stopping for the highlight of the day at Glenfinnan Viaduct for the Harry Potter Steam Train. Surrounded by mountains of the shores of Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan Monument symbolises one of the most important events in Scottish history; the 1745 Jacobite Uprising. You'll spend approximately one hour at the Monument; plenty of time to learn the history of the Jacobites, and just in time to see the famous Jacobite Steam Train crossing the bridge. This train is popularly known as the Hogwarts Express steam train in the Harry Potter series.
From Glenfinnan and its Harry Potter train, journey westwards to Mallaig on the 'road to the Isles', or 'Rathad nan Eilean'. The area was run by the Clan Donald, and is said to have some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, with sandy beaches, hills and sea views, it's one not to be missed!
At the end of the road, you'll reach Mallaig, a scenic fishing port. Spend time here for lunch, perhaps sample some local seafood, and enjoy the sea views. After Mallaig, the Harry Potter tour continues eastwards to Loch Ness and stops at Fort Augustus. Enjoy refreshments here, with beautiful views over the loch, before you travel northwards to the Falls of Foyers and Dores Beach.
The Falls of Foyers is a dramatic waterfall with a 140ft (42.6m) drop, winding its way through tall trees before it eventually meets Loch Ness.Take a photo stop here before you and your guide travel towards Dores Beach; the most northern point of Loch Ness. The beach provides a great viewpoint to the loch; from here you can see all the way down Loch Ness - ideal for spotting signs of Nessie! After Dores, you'll head back to Inverness, where your Harry Potter Train Tour ends.

- Your tour departs at 08:45hrs from Railway Terrace. Check-in opens 15 minutes prior to the stated departure time and closes 5 minutes prior to the stated departure time. It's recommended that all passengers arrive in this window as tours must depart on schedule
- You will be able to see the Harry Potter from Glenfinnan Viaduct for a photo stop, however you will not be able to board the train
- The price of the tour doesn't include meals, however we will stop at various locations with options for lunch and refreshments. No hot food is allowed on the vehicle however you may bring a cold packed lunch
- Please bring your own face covering. Hand sanitiser will be provided on board the coach, but it's recommended to bring your own
- Please bring warm and/or waterproof clothing, wear comfortable walking shoes and take sun-block or a hat for sunny days. Don't forget your camera
