Go Ape Buxton is a high ropes adventure set in Grinlow Woods, high above the historic spa town of Buxton in the Peak District National Park. This is a destination for older children, teenagers and adults who want big woodland challenges, fast zip wires and exceptional countryside views.

Treetop Challenge is the main activity at Go Ape Buxton and is suitable for adventurers aged 10 and over. After your safety briefing, you will climb into the trees to tackle suspended crossings, balancing obstacles and elevated platforms before zipping through the woodland canopy.

The standout moment is one of Go Ape's biggest Tarzan Swings. Step from the platform into an exhilarating freefall, then swing out into a giant cargo net. It is a proper adrenaline hit and a brilliant memory-maker for friends, families, birthday groups and adventurous adults.

The location makes it easy to build a bigger Peak District day out. Go Ape is close to Poole's Cavern, where visitors can explore a natural limestone cave, and Solomon's Temple, a hilltop landmark with wide-reaching views. Important Information

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your booked session to check in, complete the safety briefing and get fitted with your equipment. Booking ahead is recommended, especially for weekends and school holidays.

Go Ape Buxton is located in Grinlow Woods, just off Green Lane in Buxton. Follow signs for Poole's Cavern. The Go Ape cabin is on the far side of the car park, opposite the Poole's Cavern Visitor Centre.

The address for parking is Green Lane, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 9DH. Parking operates on a pay-and-display basis. Parking is free for Blue Badge holders and BCA Oak Members. Allow extra time to park during busy periods.

Treetop Challenge is suitable for adventurers aged 10 and over. Check Go Ape's latest height, weight and adult supervision requirements before booking.

The main cabin and spectator areas can be reached by wheelchair or pushchair, but woodland paths are gravelled, uneven and include slopes. The flattest route is near sections four and five of the course, alongside the dry-stone wall. Contact Go Ape before travelling if you have specific accessibility requirements.

Wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed, secure shoes. Activities run in most weather conditions, so bring waterproof layers and clothing suitable for mud and woodland terrain.
