What age is best for Warwick Castle?
Children aged 3 years under are allowed into the castle for free however, we think the best age suitability for kids is 3+. Pushchairs aren’t suitable at Warwick Castle as there are narrow doorways and steep steps across different exhibits. There are lots of great attractions for small children to join in with like the horrible Histories Maze and the Ticking Time Tower.
Attractions like Warwick Castle Dungeons are for kids aged 10+ years.
How much money should I budget for the trip?
Depending on your ticket type, everyone will budget differently. If you have paid for the one day entry ticket, prepare for extra costs like food & drink and the Dungeons. The Castle Dungeon costs £8pp but £5pp if you are an annual pass holder. If you want to cut costs on food & drink you’ll be happy to know there are lots of benches and stretches of grass to have a picnic on.

With breathtaking theatrical performances, too, the castle will bring it’s magical history to life.

Directions For Your Car Journey
The Castle is well signposted, and less than two miles from junction 15 of the M40.
The Warwick Castle address is: Warwick Castle, Stratford Road/West Street (adjacent to 113 West Street), Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 6AH (for standard parking at £6 for the day).
Travelling By Car
If you are travelling with your via car you will want to know directions, car parks & car park fees.
at Warwick Castle there is parking suitable for cars, under 12 seater minibuses, motorbikes and disabled parking. There also 3 car parks to choose from:

Warwick Station is approximately one mile from the Castle. A direct service into London Marylebone (1 hour 45 minutes) or Birmingham Snow Hill is available.

Did you know Warwick Castle hosts the the UK’s largest birds of prey show? The Falconer’s Quest is a truly unmissable attraction which you and your family HAVE to go to! There 60 elegant and mighty birds in total from Ernie the Verreaux’s Eagle Owl, Barty the Bearded Vulture, Wolf the Harris Hawk, Oscar the Barn Owl, Flash the Peregrine Falcon and so many more magnificent species! You can watch the fastest birds race through the sky or be dazzled by the aerial acrobatics display.
There are also magical live performances run throughout the year alongside The Falconer’s Quest like The Bowman, Zog Live Show, War of The Roses Live, The Princess in the Tower and loads more!
