Telford Balloon Festival, Telford

Look up and watch the sky come alive with hundreds of beautiful hot air balloons. You can witness breathtaking balloon launches, enjoy thrilling parachute displays and marvel at dazzling aerial entertainment throughout the event.

As evening arrives, the magic continues with the illuminated Night Glow. Watch as the balloons light up against the night sky, creating a spectacular moment the whole family will remember.

K-Pop has taken the world by storm, and now the whole family can join in the fun!

This August, West Midlands Safari Park launches its brand-new K-Pop Summer event, combining wildlife, music, and entertainment.

From 1st to 31st August 2026, guests can enjoy a live stage show, character encounters and family activities inspired by the global craze. Best of all, it is all included with standard admission.

The headline attraction is the K-Pop Summer Live Show in Treetops Pavilion. This 35-minute production is packed with energetic choreography, chart-topping hits and colourful performances. Guests can sing along, learn the moves and enjoy a Seoul-inspired summer festival atmosphere.

Enjoy a free family day out at NEC Lakeside this summer, with outdoor cinema screenings, a huge children’s play area and plenty of space to relax.

Settle in for free daily CBeebies screenings from 9:30am, perfect for little ones who love their favourite characters. On selected dates, families can also enjoy family films at 2pm, making it a lovely summer treat without the big-ticket price.

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock

There’s plenty going on at Blenheim Palace this summer, and families have even more reasons to visit. Across the estate, you’ll find seasonal events, exciting exhibitions, outdoor adventures and hands-on activities for curious little explorers.

Step into Adventure Play and follow the Pip and Posy Mystery Treehouse Trail. It is perfect for younger children who love stories, clues and playful discovery. Families can also meet friendly animals at Marlborough Mini Farm, running from 21st July to 1st September 2026. It is a lovely way for kids to get closer to nature during the school holidays.

On selected weekends, Horses at Blenheim Palace brings even more summer magic to the estate. It runs from 25th July to 30th August 2026. Expect beautiful horses, family-friendly fun and a brilliant day out in a truly grand setting.

Dinosaur fans are in for a roar-some treat too. Dinosaurs Are Forever runs from 11th August to 1st November 2026.
