Things To Do in November
What To Do With Pumpkins After Halloween?
- Carve a home out of the pumpkin. Whether it’s to make a cosy shelter for small animals in your garden or if your little ones want to make a fairy house! It’s the perfect foundation for a cute home.
- For those pumpkins you kept inside… Why not gather the kids and make pumpkin soup together? A hearty, warm and comforting dish to banish those winter blues away. A delicious, healthy and educational activity for your little munchers.
- Bring out the creativity and turn your big pumpkins into planters! Ask your kids to decorate the outside and plant any small flowers into them to furnish your front garden or porch. An imaginative garden and environmentally friendly way to utilise your Halloween pumpkins! Check out how to make them here.
- Why not combine both Halloween and Christmas by turning your pumpkins into snowmen? If you have 3 or more, paint them white and pile them on top of each other as you would do with snowballs. Then add warm scarves and a woolly hat and you’ve got yourself a snowman! Simple, easy and not wasteful.
