About the Gunpowder Plot Immersive Experience

Travel back in time and witness British history like nobody ever has before. Using live fantastic theatre and the latest digital technology. With full 360-degree views and a chance to be surrounded by traitors. This adventure day is worth a visit.

The adventure lasts 1hr and 40 minutes. Letting you experience groundbreaking action in this virtual reality adventure and sensory technology.  There are many adventures you will face on your journey from escaping the Tower of London to hiding in the secret safehouse. You will even have a chance to meet Guy Fawkes played by Tom Felton!

The Gunpowder Plot Set

The immersive theatre space was built from scratch and is filled with amazing rooms for you to travel back in time. With 22 monitors, 18 projectors and 73 computers. This brilliant experience will let you take an adventure on the most famous conspiracy plot.

The real-life experience involves explosive sounds, dramatic moments and amazing special effects.

Food & Drink

With three themed bars, you will definitely need a drink after this enjoyable experience. The Gunpowder plot bar is open to the public, letting you enjoy a drink and food in the Tower Vaults.

However, if you have a ticket the Vaults to The Crown and Barrel bar will be open to you. Filled with themed cocktails and delicious food for you to enjoy

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes as you will be travelling along the different rooms. High heels, flip flops or similar are not suitable.

Are there any content or trigger warnings?

The multilayered experience involves swearing, violence, murder, death and other scary content.

The layered reality also involves effects of darkness, motion simulators, confined spaces, live actors, smoky corridors and loud noises. The combination of effects increases the impact of the daring journey.
