    The Cathedral appeared in two major Harry Potter films; The Philosopher’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets. This filming location also appeared many times in the background location of Hogwarts!

    Many Harry Potter scenes were filmed here. The stunning cathedral was built in 1089 onwards and three of the Harry Potter films were shot here. The cathedral is filled with majestic views and ancient buildings. The cathedral has acted as the Hogwarts Corridors, the Gryffindor Common Room and even outside Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom!

    Your Tour concludes at Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station, where you can try and make your own way to Hogwarts and visit the Harry Potter Shop next door.

    Alnwick Castle

    Alnwick Castle
    A popular location to see the magnificent setting of Alnwick Castle. Harry Potter had his first Quidditch lesson on the grounds of this castle!

    In the second movie, their flying car has a run in with the Hogwarts Express. The flying car crashed into Hogwarts, this was filmed at the Inner Bailey. Also in the first two films, the Lion arch and the main gate appeared at the entry of Hogwarts.

    This amazing castle offers many fun activities for everyone to do when visiting. You can try the broomstick flying lessons or even just enjoy the castle grounds!

    Leadenhall Market, London

    Leadenhall Market, London
    A stunning covered market and at the heart London city centre. This is one of London’s oldest markets dating back to the 14th century, filled with a stoney street and friendly markets. This market was the location for some of the filming of the Diagon Alley scenes. The entrance of the Leaky Cauldron was filmed here!

    This is an amazing location to see scenes from Harry Potter but also you can take a guided walking tour as well! Now, this sounds like a location which isn’t to be missed.

    King’s Cross station

    Harry visits Platform 9 3/4 to board the Hogwarts Express. A chance to see London’s major train station and your favourite scenes from Harry Potter! There is also another bonus, as found in the books there’s a station luggage trolley, which is a photo wall opportunity!

    Goathland Station, Yorkshire
    The North York Moors in the village of Goathland was a filming location for Hogwarts. The station appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. This location is where Hagrid welcomes the first years of school. This train station also appears at the end of the same film when the students end their first adventure at Hogwarts.

    The beautiful Oxford University is open to the public for a visit. The Divinity School was featured in the Harry Potter filming. The school was used as a location of the Hogwarts Infirmary, which had a number of scenes from the films, especially in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

    The school was also where Ron has a dance lesson with Professor McGonagall. The Divinity school dates back to 1427 and has truly stunning views. You have a chance to take the Harry Potter Oxford walking tour here.
