Event Description

Christmas at Bute Park is a wonderful festive experience. An epic display of festive lasers and special effects. You’ll be in for dazzling Christmas fun!

At the Start

On entering the park, you immediately find yourself surrounding by trees sparkling with different coloured lights. Then, as you pass by the serene lit up water lily flowers, you’ll notice Cardiff Castle wall light display. The castle wall which borders Bute Park has snowflake lights projected onto it. Like mesmerising stars they swirl around on the castle wall.

The Middle Part

The breathtaking spectrum continues with flame-lit installations and a light canyon. This iridescent light orb experience is wonderful to see on a dark, winter night.

Furthermore, there is a musical area where children can tap the light installations. We spent a while here. My children had lots of fun and enjoyed being able to create festive sounds. Excitingly, the music echoes around the area. Therefore, adding to the Christmassy atmosphere.

End of the Light Trail

The finale of the Christmas at Bute Park takes you on a hypnotic laser journey. Here you will stand in awe as the lasers flash and shine up to the night sky.
