Blenheim Palace Christmas Afternoon Tea

Warm your hands and hearts with the Christmas Afternoon Tea at Blenheim Palace.
Hosted in the grand orangery room, your little ones will feel as if they are Christmas royalty as they scoff biscuits, sandwiches, scones and different flavoured teas. Dine out in style sipping on hot chocolate, doubled up with a mountain of cream and homemade cakes.
The Ice Kingdom Themed Afternoon Tea will run between 18th November 2022 – 2nd January 2023 at the Orangery and can be added at the end of your Christmas booking process. Just remember to bring a valid Christmas at Blenheim Palace ticket to experience the Afternoon Tea.

Does the Blenheim Palace Christmas event do blue light discounts?

No Blenheim Palace discounts apply to Christmas tickets. This includes NHS, Blue Light, green travel, partner codes or Tesco vouchers. If donated, tickets for the Kingdom of the Snow Queen can be converted to an Annual Pass during your Christmas visit or on the next visit (pass will be valid from date of ticket purchase).

Do I have to pay for parking?

Typically, car parking fees are included in your ticket price but during the Christmas events you must pre-book a car parking space. Car parking before 10am is free which you can pre-book on the car parking tickets page.

If parking has not been pre-booked it will cost £12 on the day, and will be available to purchase up to 14.00 only, subject to availability. Visitors arriving after 14.00 will not be able to purchase on site parking on the day.

Annual Pass Holders who have not pre-booked will be charged £10 for parking, subject to availability on the day. This doesn’t guarantee a space, please pre-book through See Tickets for guaranteed parking with the link above.

The car park is located a 5-minute walk away from the palace. Accessible spaces are located by the entrance and the car park has a gravel terrain.

Can I bring my dog to the Christmas event?

Only guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are allowed within the Palace or on the Illuminated Light Trail.

Are Blenheim's normal exhibitions still running throughout the Christmas period?

Opening times can vary during the Christmas period. Please check back on our website for up to date information if weather conditions are bad.

Certain exhibitions are still open but may have different timings from the opening times of the Christmas attractions, the gardens and the park. Please refer to the relevant exhibition page for more information and exact timings.

What should I wear to the illuminated trail?

The Illuminated Light Trail takes place outdoors and you may need to queue outdoors for The Palace on busy days. You’ll want to keep as warm as possible so please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. Anyone dressed inappropriately will be refused.
