Market Location and Opening Times
This year, the Bath Christmas Market returns for a limited time from Thursday 28th November to Sunday 15th December.
You’ll find the festive market right in the heart of the centre of Bath, with iconic architecture surrounding the market. Such as Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths and the famous Thermae Bath Spa. Wind around Georgian streets as you explore the market’s magic!

Wintery Wooden Chalets
Discover hand-knitted gifts, crochet yarns and accessories. Nibble on delicious chocolate and superfoods, and grab your hands on decorative and delicate porcelain pottery.

There will also be amazing charity chalets there to bring festive cheer to the crowds of Bath. In 2019, over £26,000 was raised to help charities because of these market stalls! And since they’re back this year, you can help support local charities too – by doing what you can.

Getting to the Market
By Train:
Bath Spa Railway station is only a few minutes’ walk from the city centre where all the hustle and bustle of Christmas will be. With regular train services coming in from London Paddington and London Waterloo – it’ll be a simple journey.
Bristol Temple Meads is also a national railway where frequent trains nationally will come in. Including South Wales and North England.
By Coach:
Coach services are a popular mode of transport, with multiple services across the UK. Please check local providers for the nearest coach transportation near you.
By Bus:
There are numerous bus services from in and around Bath that travel into the city centre.
You can purchase day tickets for £4.50 for Adults, £3.20 for 16-21-year-olds and £2.30 for Children 5-15. Children under 5 can travel for free with a full-paying adult!
By Car:
Bath is around 10 miles from Junction 18 off the M4, so there are direct links from London. As well as the North, Devon and Cornwall via the M5.

Most car parking areas will have Blue Badge parking bays in close proximity to the market.
