This fun outdoor adventure playground has everything your kids will love. How amazing is that – they’ll get really stuck in with some exhilarating adventures.

Adventure is out there! Stanwick Lakes has a playground built of wood and surrounded by a moat, your kids can feel like they’re rulers of a kingdom. There’s also water play with streams, lakes and water wheels! The park also has an outdoor adventure trail where your kids can climb rocks, over a rope bridge, swing on ropes, balance on beams and zoom down the zip wire!
But wait…don’t forget about the assault course! A challenge for kids and adults alike, test your strength and agility on a giant structure with tunnels with a rope and monkey bar challenge! Markeaton Park – Mundy Play Centre
An outdoor adventure playground that provides a space for all kids to find the adventurer in them! With a toddler area with swings and a slide, to a play area for older kids with large swings, slides and a spider net to conquer their climbing skills. There’s also a pirate ship that the children can climb on, which is suitable for disabled children too.
And if the kids want something more than that…there’s a nine-hole mini-golf course, a paddling pool, bouncy castles, car tracks and more!

Hackney Adventure Playground
A place prioritising children with specific requirements and disabilities. An adventure laid out for them to provide a fantastic day outdoors. Young people within the local communities are also welcome – but priority is given to the former.
The playgrounds offer soft play, zooming zip wires, calming sensory rooms, exhilarating rope swings and climbing frames and there are also tree houses to play on! Whether they want to tackle their inner explorer or have a calming day in the sensory area, there’s something here for them.

Heartlands Cornish Heritage & Culture
An outdoor adventure playground that radiates Cornish folklore and has the best play equipment! Like the custom-made wooden climbing structure called The Giant’s Trap! The Tudors Tower Adventure Playground at Hever Castle is an enchanting place where your kids can be the rulers of their kingdom. With a 9m tall wooden castle (which is bigger than a 4 bedroom house!), it also comes with its own moat, drawbridge and 3 turrets…so your kids really are king or queens of the castle.

Castlewellan Forest Park & Peace Maze
Down in the woods you’ll find a new play structure called Animal Wood. It’s designed for 4-11-year-olds and provides ample opportunities to play on the wild woodland animals! Including a badger in its den, a red squirrel and even a…giant spider!!
As well as those, there’s a wooden play structure with a tower, where the kids can climb the climbing wall, slide down the fireman’s pole and trample over the rope bridge onto a hollow tree stump slide! The Land
An adventure playground that’s a little…different. It’s made of junk…but totally safe! The Association of Voluntary Organisation in Wrexham helped build this junk playground which is the 8th coolest playground in the world! The kids play with hammers, climb trees, build dens, light fires and much more! This junk yard adventure playground, allows the kids to take risks, cooperate with each other…it was even the subject of a documentary called The Land by Erin Davis!
