With its stunning plant collections and meticulous design, Biddulph Grange transports you to different parts of the world in the most peaceful way. It’s truly breathtaking and definitely a place to add to your bucket list!

Did you know there’s a waterfall in the West Midlands?!

For those who love waterfalls, hiking and nature, the Light Spout Waterfall Walk in the Shropshire Hills is a must-visit!

This scenic trail takes you away from the major cities and through rugged landscapes with splendid views and incredible nature. The highlight of the walk is definitely the Light Spout Waterfall! It’s a beautiful cascade set amidst the tranquil Shropshire countryside and will genuinely leave you feeling in awe.

Top Tip! The walk is moderately challenging but is perfect for casual walkers and more experienced hikers.

Just don’t forget your camera, you’ll definitely want to capture as many pictures as possible.

Akamba Heritage Centre in Solihull is arguably the most amazing hidden gem in the West Midlands! Get ready to be transported to the heart of East Africa (without ever leaving England!). This unique cultural experience combines a garden centre with a vibrant African-themed café and shop.

Stroll through lush gardens filled with exotic plants, sculptures, and African art, before stopping by the beach to enjoy a refreshing drink on the sand! Enjoy a delicious meal in the café, which offers a taste of authentic African cuisine. We particularly love their Kenyan Tea (it’s definitely worth trying!).

That’s not all, the centre also hosts regular events, including live music and workshops! Akamba Heritage Centre is a MUST visit, next time you’re in the West Midlands!
