Easter Craft Workshops
Get creative with hands-on Easter Craft Workshops, perfect for little artists to make something special to take home. Easter Craft Workshops are free of charge to visitors with any Admission Ticket for the workshop date or a valid Annual Pass. Please purchase your House or Gardens and Play Admission Ticket before booking a Workshop Ticket. An Easter Craft Workshop Ticket is required for each adult or child attending.
All ages welcome. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Workshop duration: 30 minutes
Workshop dates: Monday 7 to Friday 11 and Monday 14 to Thursday 17 April 2025.
Beastly Boring Tours
Join them for a guided tour with a difference during the Easter holidays. Find out all the grizzly gruesome, horrible history associated with Burghley and the people who lived here.
Aimed primarily at 6 to 11 year olds, their costumed guides provide a tour like no other. Includes an exciting Beastly Boring Burghley guidebook full of fun facts and games.
Tours are from 9.30-10.30am 7-10, 12, 14-17 April and tickets are £16 per person. A Beastly Boring Tours ticket provides access to the House, Gardens and Adventure Play for the whole day.
Easter Egg Treasure Hunt – Easter Sunday
Head on over on Easter Sunday for an Egg-citing Treasure Hunt! Follow the clues, explore the beautiful surroundings, and claim a delicious chocolatey prize from the Easter Bunny himself. The Easter Egg Treasure Hunt is included with any Admission Ticket purchased for 20 April 2025 or any valid Annual Pass. Advance booking is recommended.

Burghley House is located on the edge of Stamford, Lincolnshire, and is well signposted from the surrounding area.
Plan Your Route: From your location, head towards Stamford using the most direct main roads or motorways.
Approach via the A1: If travelling on the A1, take the exit for
Stamford/Burghley House.
Follow the Signs: Once near Stamford, follow the brown tourist signs for Burghley House.
By Bus:
The nearest bus route is with Delaine and it stops outside the Main Visitor Entrance on Barnack Road.
By Train:
The nearest train staton is Stamford which is half a mile from the Parkland entrance and 1.5 miles to Burghley House.
There are bike racks for those who wish to cycle.
