Going to a pick your own fruit farm with kids is one of those have to do activities and is a great way to enjoy the outdoors during the warmer months. Anything that encourages my kids to eat healthy food is always a winner with me and my kids always enjoy seeing how the different fruit that they love grows. Plus who doesn’t love carrying around a little basket to collect the fruit?!
Today we’ve got PYO farms across the country where you can pick strawberries, cherries and apples, but many of the farms have loads of other fruit and vegetables you can pick too and some even have cafes so you can turn it into a full day out. We’ve tried to get an even spread across the UK so you can find the best fruit picking near you.
In all cases make sure you contact the farm or check out their website for up to date information on what they currently have in season.
