Osborne is a strong pick for families who want a day out with space to explore as well as plenty to look at indoors. You can tour the royal apartments, wander the terrace gardens and head down through the grounds to the beach.
For children, the biggest draw is usually the Swiss Cottage area. There’s a play area, garden plots once used by the royal children and plenty of room to move around outdoors.

The Swiss Cottage area adds a more hands-on family element to the day. Children can explore the outdoor play area, see the children's gardens and walk the route down through the grounds.
