Escape into the Chiltern Hills for a high-flying adventure at Go Ape Wendover, set among the woodland of Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire.

There are three ways to take on the treetops here, with experiences designed for different ages and confidence levels. Treetop Challenge is the ultimate test for adventurers aged 10+, while Treetop Adventure Plus and Treetop Adventure give younger visitors the chance to build their confidence among the trees.

The self-belay Treetop Challenge features five sections of aerial obstacles, daring crossings, a legendary Tarzan Swing and zip wires reaching up to 150m. With platforms as high as 13.5m, it's a serious challenge with spectacular views across the Chiltern Hills.

For younger adventurers, Treetop Adventure Plus offers higher platforms and longer zips than the entry-level course, while Treetop Adventure provides a gentle introduction to high ropes for children aged 4–10. Both use a continuous belay system to help keep participants securely attached throughout the course.

And your Go Ape experience doesn't have to end when you leave the trees. Wendover Woods is ideal for a full family day out, with woodland walks, a café, picnic areas and opportunities for nature spotting.
