If your little one is obsessed with Peppa Pig (and let’s be honest, whose toddler isn’t?), we’ve found the ultimate treat for them in 2026. The B Bakery Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour is a one-of-a-kind London experience that combines a classic British afternoon tea, iconic sightseeing, and a full Peppa Pig adventure on a vintage Routemaster bus. It really is as magical as it sounds!

Created in collaboration with Brigit’s Bakery, Hasbro, and Entertainment One, this is London’s only official Peppa Pig-themed afternoon tea and sightseeing tour. Whether you’re planning a birthday treat, a school holiday adventure, or simply want to see your child’s face light up as Peppa waves from the tablet at their table, this is a day out your family will talk about for a long time.

TL;DR: A 90-minute Peppa Pig-themed afternoon tea on a vintage London bus, departing from Somerset House. Suitable for ages 2+, available daily, with tickets from £63 via Day Out With The Kids. Book in advance as slots fill up fast!

What Is the B Bakery Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour?

The Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour is run by Brigit’s Bakery, one of London’s most popular afternoon tea experiences, famous for their themed bus tours around the capital. The Peppa Pig version is specifically designed for the youngest members of the family, making it the perfect “My First Afternoon Tea” experience.

Here’s what happens on the day:

  • You board a beautifully decorated vintage Routemaster bus at Somerset House on the Strand
  • The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, looping through central London
  • Every table has a built-in tablet with a Peppa Pig guided animation of the route, complete with singalong songs and activities
  • A Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea is served throughout the journey, with character-themed treats
  • Each child receives a Peppa Pig Activity Booklet to take home, plus a Peppa Pig travel cup as a souvenir
  • An onboard entertainer keeps the energy high with games and singalongs

Bear with us here! It isn’t just a bus ride with some sandwiches. The whole experience is carefully themed from start to finish, with every element woven into the Peppa Pig universe. Think Daddy Pig-sized portions and Granny Pig’s scones!

The Route: What Landmarks Will You See?

As your little ones tuck into their afternoon tea, the bus winds through some of London’s most iconic streets. You’ll pass:

  • Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament

It’s a brilliant way for young children to see London for the first time, with Peppa narrating the journey on their tablet!

Getting There: Location and Transport

The tour departs from Victoria Embankment by Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA. It’s right in the heart of central London and brilliantly well-connected by public transport.

Please note: The bus departs from the embankment side of Somerset House (not the courtyard entrance). Look for the bus parked on Victoria Embankment. There are no public toilets at the departure point, so plan ahead!

Parking

There is no parking at Somerset House, and very little on-street parking nearby. The closest car park is on Parker Street, WC2B 5NT. Note that Somerset House is within the Congestion Charge zone, so factor that in if you’re driving.

Our tip: Public transport is genuinely the easiest way to get here. Temple Underground Station is a two-minute stroll away and is perfect for families!

Practical Tips Before You Go

A little preparation goes a long way to making the day run smoothly. Here’s everything we think you need to know before you board!

Age and Accessibility

  • The tour is suitable for ages 2 and over. Babies are not permitted on board.
  • The vintage Routemaster bus is not wheelchair accessible due to its classic design, though a folded wheelchair can be stored on board.
  • Pushchairs and buggies must be foldable. There is no space for full-size prams.
  • The experience is rated for ages 2+ and is genuinely brilliant for toddlers and young children up to around 8 or 9 years old.

Toilets

Think the lack of a toilet is a dealbreaker? Think again! There is a children’s-only emergency loo on the official Peppa Pig bus. However, there are no public toilets at the departure point at Somerset House or Temple. We’d strongly recommend a toilet stop before boarding. Public toilets are available at Victoria Coach Station if you’re coming from that direction.

Seasonal Special Events

Brigit’s Bakery run brilliant themed additions throughout the year:

  • Easter Tour (28 March to 26 April 2026): Singalong songs, friendly games, and a Peppa Pig Easter egg hunt activity sheet!
  • Halloween: A spooky seasonal afternoon tea experience
  • Christmas: A festive afternoon tea perfect for excitable little ones in the run-up to Christmas

Keep an eye on the B Bakery website for upcoming seasonal tours.

Private Hire and Birthday Parties

Looking for the ultimate Peppa Pig birthday party? The bus is available for private hire for up to 42 guests! Packages include reserved seating, a Peppa-themed cake, decorations, games, singalongs, and goodie bags. Contact bus@b-bakery.com for more information.

Is the Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour Worth It?

We get it. The price tag gives some parents pause. But here’s the honest answer: for the right family, this experience is absolutely worth every penny.

The combination of elements on offer here is genuinely unique. You’re not just paying for afternoon tea. You’re paying for:

  • A full London sightseeing tour through iconic landmarks
  • A completely themed, character-led dining experience
  • Interactive entertainment via tablets at every table
  • An onboard entertainer keeping the kids engaged
  • Keepsake souvenirs (activity book and travel cup) to take home

For a toddler or young child who loves Peppa Pig, this is the kind of experience that sticks in the memory for years. Parents who’ve taken their little ones consistently describe it as “such fantastic value for money” given everything that’s included.

The honest caveats:

  • If your child has grown out of Peppa Pig, the magic won’t land in the same way. This is best suited to ages 2 to 7.
  • The vintage Routemaster bus is not wheelchair accessible, which is an important limitation for some families.
  • There’s no toilet at the departure point, which requires a bit of planning with young children.
  • Prices are on the higher end for a 90-minute experience, so it’s a special occasion treat rather than an everyday day out.

But for a birthday, a school holiday treat, or a first visit to London with a Peppa Pig superfan? Absolutely book it.

Our verdict: One of the most imaginative and well-executed family experiences in London. The themed menu, the singalongs, the landmark views, and those little faces when they see Peppa on the tablet make this a genuinely special day out. Book your tickets here and secure your spot before it sells out!
