The Outernet Cherry Blossom Experience: London’s Must-See Spring Event!

You’ve all heard of Outernet London, right? It’s a free art installation opposite Tottenham Court Road station that showcases incredible exhibits all year round! From emoji showers and immersive artwork, a butterfly trail and even recently hosted Sam Barber’s music session!

At Christmas, have the interactive Snow Globe Experience, and in the Spring…they have the magic of blossom trees blooming all around you. The creative team really knows how to put on a show that really has everyone off their phones and looking at the glory of nature all around them.

From the 1st to the 30th of April 2025, bustling commuters, tourists and visitors will be able to stop and gaze at the inspirational visuals as a host of cherry blossom varieties start blooming all across the screens at Outernet with Nature’s Confetti. With trees flourishing and the pretty in pink petals opening, it’ll feel like you’re in a real Kyoto Garden!

The three-minute video will feature a visual illusion of petals raining and falling gracefully from above, growing trees on GIANT floor-to-ceiling wraparound screens and even audio recordings from National Trust sites. They’ll be echoing real-life sounds of nature in the UK! Then, you’ll have transcendent music composed by Father to play alongside the immersive concept.

BUT that’s not all! You’ll be able to use body movements to control your immersive experience on the screens – which is super cool!

With its huge success last year, we KNOW it’ll be an even bigger hit this year!

Outernet is located right in the heart of Central London, just a stone’s throw from Tottenham Court Road Station, making it super easy for families with kids to reach by tube, bus, or on foot.
