Seasonal Stalls

There’s nothing like Christmas without a festive atmosphere, and how do we achieve that? With a range of stalls docked up in Christmas decoration and pomp, of course! And the added sprinkle of twinkling lights and festive tunes playing in the background, you’ll truly be immersed in Christmas cheer.

This year you’ll find over 250 stalls nestled in and around the medieval square, between an incredible Norman Castle and the Gothic Lincoln Cathedral. Walk along cobbled roads as you take in the enchanting and cheerful atmosphere. You’ll find craft stalls selling delicate, unique and amazing trinkets. As well as locals selling festive decorations and of course a cluster of food stalls.

A bit of stall holder history… did you know Lincoln Xmas Market started off with 11 stalls and now holds over 250?! That’s incredible growth and brings in more festive cheer! What more could you want?

You’ll also get to ride the big wheel and enjoy carousel rides that bring the inner child out of everyone!

Festive Food

From family, favourite treats like German sausages and pretzels to sweet delicacies like crepes and anything covered in melted chocolate! You’ll find plenty of food choices here to really bring you into the festivities and to indulge in.

Not forgetting the seasonal sips! Whether it’s traditional German beer, mulled wine or even a warm mug of hot chocolate. There’s something here for everyone.

Meet Bailey

A lovable polar bear who is a loyal friend of Santa Claus, he’s now been appointed the guardian of Lincoln Christmas Market! As he was travelling to the North Pole he misplaced his map… But heard the callings of jingle bells from the Lincoln Christmas Market and dashed there.

Long story short, he fell in love with the Christmas Market and called it his forever home – with the blessing of Santa of course. You’ll find him at the Visitor Centre! Pop by and say hi!

So, wherever you go in the market and whatever stall you visit, prepare to experience rich tastes of Christmas! And most of all the feeling of merriment all at this annual event!
