    The Haunted Castle

    The spookiest residents of Warwick Castle are inviting all you brave scare-seekers for a Halloween you won’t forget!

    Warwick Castle is offering you a spooky family experience of adventure mazes, terrifying entertainment, creepy characters and daunting evening entertainment. With themed attraction shows and evening ghost stories, you can see the ancient castle. With your entry ticket, you will have access to tours, entertainment and daily events!

    There are also frightful family fun adventures like visiting the witch’s den, the castle dungeon and ghosts roaming around the castle courtyard! Throughout the day, there are also singing shows happening on the dead centre stage. We hear the Witches of Warwick will be returning for a bewitching live show full of mischievous magic and comical cackles! Venture deep into the Haunted Hallows, where spooks and surprises lurk around every corner! Warwick Castle has even added brand-new twists, turns, and creepy characters for 2024!

    To make your day extra scary, why not dress up as a scary Halloween character and frighten everyone around the castle grounds?

    Are you ready to see the Castle After Dark in the most frightful atmosphere? Then the adventure Castle After Dark is the one for you! You’re in for an evening of entertainment with live music, DJs, street food outlets, drinks, firebreathers and more! But don’t get too comfortable; you never know what ghosts may be lurking around.

    Are you ready to take on a challenge? How about wondering the Haunted Hollows at night and facing your deepest fears? You’ll find spine-chilling scares and your darkest fears waiting here for you! For those adventurous families, check out the Castle Dungeons for scary true stories, spooky surprises and ‘orrible actors!

    If you’re feeling a little hungry in the evenings, there is a wide range of delicious street food markets available for you! Even ghosts get hungry too! You can have a hot drink or an alcoholic drink, as long as you’re ready to be scared. This haunted castle is the place for you!

    Halloween doesn’t always have to be scary for the children. With Zog Playground opening in October, the dragon zip wires and Zog rides. Everyone can enjoy Halloween this year in the family. With a wide range of adventure rides, fun activities and story telling. This is a great day out for the family too.

    Horrible Histories Maze

    Are the kids ready to travel back in time and learn about grizzly history. From the fearful First World War to the Vile Victorians. This is a great day out for the family to enjoy, learning about history whilst interacting with new activities.

    When is The Haunted Castle and Castle After Dark?

    The Haunted Castle will be open from 26th October – 3rd November 2024.

    The Castle After Dark will be available from the 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, and 31st October 2024.

    Can I visit both the Haunted Castle and Castle after Dark together?

    Yes, you can. You will need to pre-book your tickets to attend both events.

    Do I pay for parking?

    Yes, there are both day and night parking charges that will be applied.

    Payment can be made via the Warwick Castle app or the car park points available.

    Is there wheelchair access?

    The castle is wheelchair friendly however, visit the website to find out more details.

    Can I take my child through the Haunted Castle or Castle after dark?

    For safety purposes, babies and toddlers shouldn’t be taken through the attractions. None of the internal attractions are suitable for prams or pushchairs.

    How old do I have to be to attend the events?

    The Haunted Castle is a family attraction.

    But the Castle After Dark event is suitable for children ages 12 years and older.

    Can I turn up in fancy dress?

    Yes! This is great for everyone who wants to get in the Halloween spirit! See what we did there?

    However, character masks cannot be worn in the Castle Dungeon.
