Hewitts Farm is a family run farm business with a variety of fruits and vegetables to pick from during the summer season. There regular updates on what is available in the ‘pick your own’ section on the Hewitts Farm website.

Fresh produce available includes broad beans, apples, soft fruits, plums,courgettes and sweetcorn. Keep an eye out during late August/early September because the Hewitts Farm famous Autumn squashes and pumpkins are on offer. Perfect for Halloween and Autumnal home decorations. A helpful point to note is that the farm shop onsite offers local delivery of fruit and vegetable boxes.

Crockford Bridge Farm is great day out for all the family. This pick your own fruit farm also has seasonal events running throughout the year including Easter Eggstravaganza, Pumpkin Festival and Pick Your Own Christmas Tree.

You need to purchase a farm pass in advance on the farm’s website. This can be used for purchases when picking your own fruit and vegetables. You’ll be spoilt for choice with what’s on offer at Crockford. After soft fruits and strawberry season has finished you can see fill your baskets with rhubarb, blackberries, carrots, peas and much more!

Garsons is an award-winning garden centre located near to London in Surrey.  It has one of the biggest pick your own fruit farms in the UK. Here you can pick the juciest strawberry or raspberry. Garson’s grows strawberries table-top. Then, in late Summer pick your own autumnal apples. Both cooking and eating apple picking is available at Garsons.

There’s also sweetcorn, plums, onions, blackberries and fields of sunflowers to pick from! The farm is huge so be prepared to spend a few hours here. There’s also a farm shop and Orangery Tea House. Perfect for picking up some foodie treats and enjoying a drink with friends or family.

During September and October Stanhill also has a Pumpkin Patch. The perfect spot for spooky fun! The farm shop has a huge range of produce available including local meats, fresh fruit and vegetables. There’s also a range of eco friendly products to buy.

Home Cottage Farm has a range of fruit to pick including plenty of strawberries, apples and other fresh berries. They sell honey from their own bees in the onsite farm shop too-delicious!

Little animal lovers will have fun spotting the free range chickens and sheep which wander around the farm.
