Grab your boots, we’re going to the Christmas Markte! Equipped with an impressive outdoor ice rink, vintage funfair and a traditional European tavern, the WinterFest Christmas Market at Slessor Gardens is a must-visit this month!

This experience is the perfect day out for both adults and children. You can explore the market, soak in the holiday vibes, marvel at the festive decorations and make the most out of your visit to Slessor Gardens! They also offer ice-skating but that is an extra charge (£5)!

If you do want to add on ice skating, we’d recommend booking in advance to prevent you having to queue. After all, there are lots of fun things to see and do in your day out at Slessor Gardens.

Aberdeen’s Christmas Village has something for everyone this Christmas from an open-air ice rink and fairground rides, to something a bit more relaxing like a stroll down to the Village Square.

Sample an array of tempting food treats including German bratwursts, Dutch pancakes, as well as fayre from a little closer to home in the form of haggis bon-bons.

For the first time EVER the Iconic festive truck stopped in Belfast last year! This magical free event in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter arrived in December 2023.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a free can of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar or Coca-Cola Original Taste as they have an exclusive family Christmas photo taken with the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck. What’s not to love?

Have you got the need for speed? Watch the Santa Dash in Llandudno. If you’re sick and tired of a typical Santa experience like a grotto experience or gift giving, then head to the seaside and cheer on not one but THOUSANDS of Santas!!!

The 5km family run takes you along the beautiful sea front of Llandudno North Shore. You can walk, jog or run 5km. Participants will receive their own Santa suit to wear a medal and the amazing feeling of joining in such a great event. The event is free to watch, not to enter.

Grab your winter coats and head out to enjoy an evening of festive entertainment at Bryngarw Country Park! Enjoy an illuminated walk around the park with handmade lanterns and light installations from Small World Theatre Company.

After the walk, enjoy hot chocolate, cake and mulled wine as you listen to and sing-a-long with the Ogmore Valley Silver Band.
