The Mitchells vs the Machines, 2021

A hilarious animated dystopian kind of film, that focuses on a robot apocalypse orchestrated by the evil A.I. But when a dysfunctional family is trying to survive through this apocalypse, will they become humanity’s surprising heroes or absolutely fail?

Starring Olivia Colman, Michael Rianda, Abbi Jacobson and Alex Hirsch.

Invader ZIM: Enter the Florpus, 2019

A children & family film based on the events of the original TV series and the aliens in an existential dilemma. Zim’s trying to find his true purpose on Earth while his arch-nemesis is trying to drag him down. Will he gain his confidence back and fight back to make a difference?

But when he’s separated from his family during a move to the US, he needs help in getting back his home.

A heartwarming and lovable story, with funny and relatable characters and groovy music!

A science-fiction film that is for slightly older kids (14+), but is a pretty awesome family film on Netflix to put on your list!

Think…a man travels back in time to save humanity, but when his emotional baggage surrounding his parents comes into play things become a little more tricky. This film not only tackles an alien invasion but also grief and emotional family turmoil – which makes for a family film like no other.

If you have older kids, we’re sure they’ll enjoy this film!

Enola Holmes, 2020

Depicting the story of how a young boy must slay a dragon to step into manhood…but he does the exact opposite and befriends a lovable dragon. Can he bring his community together to love dragons too?

Hotel Transylvania 2, 2015
