Easter is a time of celebration, and what better way to get into the spirit of the season than by engaging in some fun and easy, crafty Easter activities with your kids? We’ve got some great ideas for simple creative crafts to make with your children.
Easter Cardboard Roll Animals
An easy Easter craft idea that you only need to use basic craft supplies to create. So simple to make it could even be a fun idea as a craft for preschoolers.
You will need:
- Coloured card and paper in orange, yellow, light blue and white.
- Small Carboard Tubes (toilet rolls are ideal)
- Googly eyes and glue
- Scissors, pencil and permanent marker pen
Toilet Paper Roll Bunny
Draw a template for 2 bunny ears on your coloured card. Next, cut the bunny ears out. Then, cover your toilet roll with coloured paper of your choice. Choose either glue or adhesive foam dots for this step. You can see in the image light blue paper has been used.
Attach the bunny ears to the top of the roll -a stapler would be good for this to help them stand up. Next, attach googly eyes and using your marker pen draw a nose and whiskers.
Admire your finished Easter bunny craft. For added cuteness add a small pom pom nose!
Adorable Paper Chick Craft
Draw a template for chick feathers on your orange coloured card. Next, cut the feathers out. Then, cover your toilet roll with yellow coloured paper. Choose either glue or double stick tape for this step.
Stick the chick feathers to the top of your toilet roll and then add google eyes. Next, create a tiny beak using orange paper and attach to the face.

Easy Easter Egg Bunting
Creating an Easter bunting decoration for your home and Easter party festivities is an a really cute craft idea that only needs basic supplies. This is a fun craft that you can involve all the family in!
You will need:
- White card
- Pens, crayons or paint in a variety of colours
- Hole punch or small coloured peg
Create an egg template on a piece of white card. Cut out the egg shape and repeat 20 times.
Using alternate colors, create Easter egg design on each piece.
Using a hole punch make a hole at the tope of each egg and thread through string or secure each egg with a small peg.
Now all you need to do is decide where to hang your bunting.
