OMG Lidl Has Their Very Own Cola Truck!

This Christmas, Lidl released a new festive advert that features, ‘Nick’ who brings the giant truck to life, as it spreads Christmas cheer around the UK.

Named the Freeway Cola truck, it’s set to rival the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck and will be going all out to capture the Christmas spirit, complete with dazzling lights, holiday tunes, and that unmistakable Lidl charm! From the beginnings of Lidl’s famous fizzy cola to a giant 15-tonne, 20-metre long and 5-metre high truck – complete with a lifelike pull ring back hatch – like the top of a can!

The truck is more than just a pretty sight though – it’s loaded with seasonal goodies, offering Lidl’s own fizzy cola drink and festive treats to spread the joy far and wide. Plus, this year, Lidl’s taking things to a new level by stopping in towns across the country, giving communities a chance to join in the fun with sampling stations, Christmas giveaways, and photo ops for the whole family.

How?

Well, the Freeway Truck will be giving out 2,000 present boxes with a host of Lidl’s iconic middle aisle products at nine locations. But they’ll be handed out on a first-come-first-serve basis – so you gotta be quick!

Plus, one of 10 of these presents will contain a ‘golden ticket’ – worth £100 which you can redeem it on the Lidl Plus app! AND you can make a ‘wish’ for something you want this Christmas, and the supermarket retailer may grant it!

Not to mention, the Freeway Truck will have a host of festive food and tasty treats to give out to visitors, alongside a life-size present box and Lidl van. From festive biscuits and Snowmallows to more treats!

Well, you’ll be happy to know that the brand-new truck will be travelling to the below locations:

• Slessor Gardens, Dundee – 14th November
• Harrogate Station, Harrogate – 16th November
• Queen Victoria Square, Hull – 17th November
• Sneinton Market Square, Nottingham – 21st November
• 22 Victoria Street & Bell, Wolverhampton – 23rd November
• Sgwâr y Frenhines/Queen’s Square, Wrexham – 24th November
• St George’s Square, Luton – 28th November
• The Triangle, Bournemouth – 30th November
• O2 Guildhall Forecourt, Southampton – 1st December

From 12:00 – 18:00 on the above days, you can pop along and visit the Cola truck and get some goodies, take a quick selfie and get into the festive spirit!
