If you want to try mountain biking for the first time, their Kermit trail is for you. It’s the UK’s longest and most exciting beginner downhill trail, at 5km! Whizz and zoom down, as you take in the spectacular views and feel the confidence in you build.

No need to bring your gear too, as you they have bike hire services here. You can rent Trek bikes for those who are 114cm tall, as well as safety equipment like helmets and pads!

Antur Stiniog

Set in the beautiful mountains of North Wales is a bike park no other. Offering 14 incredible gravity inducing mountain bike trails for all abilities! Whether you’re a beginner or on your way to becoming a world cup champion!

They’re easy to figure out which trail is the hardest as they’re colour coded from green to black. So, you know which one you’ll be able to tackle.

They also offer mountain bike hire by Saracen Bikes, with fantastic equipment! And they also have a kids club, for the little ones who want to start cycling too. In a safe way, with their top-notch coaching sessions!

Revolution Bike Park

Welcome to an uplift-assisted bike park! Situated in 120 acres of private woodland on the Welsh border of Llangyong. A beautiful landscape, with lots of areas for bike trails! From the fast and furious red trails, and rocky black trails to the steep trails for the pros.

Whether you’re looking to step up or overcome a challenge, you’ll find it here. With a mix of natural trails that are downhill (which are super fun and exciting!) or the man-made trails that have corners to overcome, berms and tabletops to jump over! A Blue route for those who want to give mountain biking a go, a Red route for those more experienced riders and finally the Black route, for those who are real serious about mountain biking.

Afan Forest Park

Discover an area of natural beauty in South Wales. Where you admire the nature around you and… go hard with your biking skills!

Known as one of the UK’s more exhilarating mountain bike trails, they have 6 incredible ones to try out, ranging from 7km – a whopping 40km! Whatever the weather, you can ride against the wind here. With blue trails marking out their difficulties, like the Blue Scar, you can improve your skills and build your confidence while you have fun!

There’s also plenty of walking trials for those who love a good hike and you appreciate the coastal views as you walk along the 16m Lowland part of Wales Coast Path.
