Buying by the car rather than by the head changes the maths of a family day out, and that is how Westwinds sells its pumpkin patch. One ticket covers everybody in the vehicle along with the parking and the entry, which suits a car with three children in the back or two families travelling together.

Each booking is a two-hour session, and there is more to fill it than the patch itself. Friendly farm animals are there to meet, giant garden games are set out, and there is a giant slide and a straw pit for children who would rather be climbing than choosing. The on-site café serves hot and cold drinks, homemade treats and light bites, with hand-made pizzas added at weekends.

Every ticket includes one small pumpkin. If a bigger one catches your eye instead, £5 of the ticket goes towards it, so the choice is not limited to what comes as standard.

The farm also runs separate ASN sessions for visitors with additional support needs, including one on Saturday 10 October 2026, held apart from the general slots. Tickets for everything are booked online in advance and card payment is accepted on site. The sessions run to time, so arriving punctually for your slot matters more here than at a turn-up-and-wander patch.
