Pumpkin Picking at Wappenham Farm

There are two festivals here rather than one. The daytime Pumpkin Farm Festival opens on 10 October, and on four evenings the farm reopens after dark for Twilight, on Friday 23, Saturday 24, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.

One admission ticket covers the Spooky Trail, the farm attractions and access to the Pumpkin Patch, with the pumpkins themselves charged on top of what you have already paid. The trail is a 3D Spooky Trail, and there is a maize maze and a set of photo spots alongside it.

Marshmallow toasting and an outdoor play patch fill the gaps between the bigger attractions, and the Tipi Cafe serves warm drinks, sweet treats and autumn favourites for the point in the afternoon when everyone needs to sit down.

This is a working farm, so some of the ground is uneven, particularly after rain. Wellies or sturdy footwear are recommended, especially for the autumn events. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and you are expected to clear up after them. Parking costs nothing, and booking online in advance is recommended for both the daytime festival and the Twilight evenings.
