HalloWILD at Blair Drummond Safari Park

Over 300 rare and exotic animals live at Blair Drummond, and HalloWILD is laid over the top of them rather than standing in for them. From 10 to 31 October 2026 the Halloween additions run alongside the usual safari park day, so nobody has to choose between the animals and the event.

Giant hay bale spiders are scattered across the park for children to spot. The trick-or-treat trail is run as a scavenger hunt: follow the clues, collect letters along the way and complete a mystery word, with a chance of a prize at the end. There is an undercover hay bale play-pit, useful to have within reach in late October, and marshmallows to toast over fire pits.

A fancy dress competition runs in three age brackets, 0 to 6 years, 7 to 12 years, and 13 and over, so older children and adults have a category of their own if the family wants to dress up.

Every visit has to be booked before you arrive, because the park sells tickets online only, and tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, so the date is worth choosing carefully. Under 3s go free and carers go free. Hours shorten from 26 October, when the park closes in the middle of the afternoon, so a visit in that last week needs an earlier start than one at the beginning of the month.
