Our first impressions were: plenty of parking when we arrived, very clean, spacious and well thought out. It’s huge but the perfect size for under 10s with lots to do. Very colourful and inviting with friendly staff, we felt very safe. There’s plenty of space and things to do without feeling overwhelming - we were excited to explore!

We had a full day at Sundown Adventureland and managed to get around almost the entire park from open to close - it was amazing!
We entered through Market Square (25 on the map) then headed straight to Fort Apache, the wooden play area (31), which the kids absolutely loved. After a quick toilet stop we had lunch at a picnic table in Noah's Ark (1) where we had a quick play before heading off for our first ride - Santa's Sleigh Ride (26). From then on, we just had a great time exploring Sundown!
The boys were able to get on every single ride in the theme park, which is fantastic when you have kids who want to do everything! It's really well spread out so it never feels crowded and you won't be queuing for long periods. We went in the summer holidays and found there was only ever a short wait for rides.
There are so many opportunities for role-playing in Storybook Village, huge sandpits, 2 mega multi-storey soft play areas, multiple large outdoor play areas, and a vast amount of space to just run around and stay entertained. No wonder they took home Gold at the UK Theme Park Awards 2026!
It's absolutely perfect for under 10s - they can go on everything.

We had lunch at the picnic tables at Noah's Ark - we brought our own picnic which was easy as there are loads of picnic spots around the park. There are cafes too - Crash Landings, Pumpkin Patch and Rodeo Corral serve hot food, snacks and drinks.
Take your own picnic - there are plenty of tables. Also book tickets online in advance as it’s cheaper than on the gate, and go early to get on all the rides with almost no queues, so you get full value from the day.
Very clean and well-kept theme park. Staff were professional and helpful on the rides. Felt very safe.
Perfect for under 10s. There’s plenty to do!
We had our own picnic food - there are loads of picnic spots around the park. Prices in the cafes are average for a theme park.
There were almost no queues all day. We got on all the rides, including the Jolly Pirate Barrel Ride twice, with no waiting. Park never felt crowded.
Brilliant fun! Loved the Jolly Pirate Barrel Ride, the Storybook Village, and the huge sandpits at Captain Sandy's Cove. Plus the indoor soft play in Crash Landings. There’s lots to do! So get there early!
Great value - we booked tickets online in advance which was cheaper than on the gate, took our own picnic as there are loads of picnic tables, and kids under 90cm go free. A full day out!
We had a brilliant full day at Sundown Adventureland. It's perfectly aimed at under 10s - all the rides were just right, and there were almost no queues so we got on everything including the Jolly Pirate Barrel Ride twice! Loved Storybook Village, the huge sandpits and indoor soft play areas. The theme park was very clean and well looked after with loads of picnic spots throughout! Would absolutely recommend to friends & family and would visit again!
"A brilliant theme park for under 10s - there’s a full day of fun to be had here!"Dolly Mittal
