Our Arrival & First Impressions

Entrance

First Impressions of Disneyland Paris ✨🏰

The moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a storybook. From the beautiful castle to the music playing down Main Street, everything felt so magical. The attention to detail is incredible, and everywhere you look there’s something special to see.

The excitement on the children’s faces made the journey completely worth it. Seeing their eyes light up as they spotted their favourite characters and took in all the sights is a memory I’ll treasure forever.

Our first impression? Pure Disney magic. We already knew it would be special, but the atmosphere, the friendly cast members, and the feeling of happiness all around exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t wait to start exploring and making unforgettable family memories.

Activities Breakdown

Cars ride
Watching the parade

One thing we absolutely loved about Disneyland Paris was how many attractions the whole family could enjoy together. We were pleasantly surprised to find that lots of the rides had no minimum height requirement, which meant our nine-month-old could experience the magic too. It made such a difference because neither me nor my partner had to miss out by waiting with the baby while the other went on a ride. Instead, we were able to enjoy so many attractions together as a family, making the day feel even more special and inclusive. It was lovely seeing our little one take it all in, even at such a young age.

  1. 1

    Meeting spider man

One thing that was really different from what we’d experienced before was meeting Spider-Man. Instead of joining a normal queue, we had to book a place using the virtual queue on the Disneyland Paris app. Once we’d secured our time slot, we were free to carry on enjoying the park until it was our turn. It was such a great system because it meant we weren’t spending ages waiting in line and could make the most of our day while still getting to meet Spider-Man.

Food & Drink

We chose to have dinner at Billy Bob’s, and it was a fantastic choice. We’d booked the half-board option when we arranged our holiday, which meant breakfast and dinner were already covered. It took away the stress of wondering how much meals were going to cost once we arrived, making it much easier to relax and enjoy our trip.

The all-you-can-eat buffet at Billy Bob’s had a great variety of food, so there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was especially ideal with our nine-month-old, as we could all sit together, take our time, and let him join in with the meal too. It made dinner feel really relaxed, and it was lovely watching him enjoy being part of the family experience.

Money-Saving Tip

Money-Saving Tips 💷✨ One of the best decisions we made was booking the half-board meal plan with our holiday. Knowing that breakfast and dinner were already paid for before we arrived meant we didn’t have to worry about the cost of meals during our trip. It made budgeting much easier and helped us relax and enjoy the experience without constantly thinking about spending. We also took advantage of the free drinking water fountains around the parks by refilling our water bottles throughout the day, which saved us from buying drinks every time we got thirsty.

The Final Verdict:

Final Verdict ✨🏰 Our first trip to Disneyland Paris truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the magical atmosphere and family-friendly attractions to the fantastic food and unforgettable character experiences, every day was filled with special memories that we’ll cherish forever. As a family with a nine-month-old, we were so pleased by how much there was for all of us to enjoy together. The Disneyland Paris app made planning our days easy, the half-board meal plan helped us budget with confidence, and every cast member we met made us feel so welcome. Without a doubt, I’d recommend Disneyland Paris to friends and family. It’s a place where memories are made, no matter your age, and we already can’t wait to go back. In fact, we’re hoping to book our next trip for 2028! If you’re thinking about visiting, I’d say go for it—you won’t regret it. The magic really is something you have to experience for yourself.
