Meet the Creator

After a long journey, we all were very excited to see the entrance to LEGOLAND. It was our first time visiting so wasn’t sure what to expect.

When we arrived, I really hoped there was enough activities for my 1 year old to do, as it’s difficult to find things to suit both children! Walking down to the park, there were steps and ramps for the parents to walk down, and a series of slides to make it more fun for the children to go down.
To say we had fun was an understatement. There is so much to do for all ages! We loved the lazy river ride, the fairy tale ride (great for young children) and the submarine experience.
My 5 year old absolutely loved the driving range, we had this included in the birthday package which we added onto our one night stay.
I did think the cues were a bit lengthy but to see his little face at the end was definitely worth it.
Miniland was great, very interesting for adults and lots of interactive elements to add fun for children. Great to let the little ones roam around this area without the worry of them going too far or hurting themselves.
I was actually surprised at how many rides our 1 year old was able to go on!
The day we went, the weather was great but very very hot. We found it hard to find shade and there were limited places to get drinks and snacks.

Due to being so focused on the boys, we didn’t really make a note of places to eat. I packed a picnic for us all. But dad went to a burger place mid afternoon as wanted something better to eat.
Take a picnic with you! There are lots of areas where you can eat your own food. Benches, grass areas.
The baby change in areas wasn’t the best. Was glad I had my own changing mat.
A great assortment depending on interests
Long cues, limited places to go
There were long cues and it was very busy. But we expected this so was able to plan around this.
Worth every penny. Was can’t wait to go back when the boys are a little older.
Amazing. We loved it!
As a family who hadn’t visited before, we look forward to visiting again in the future. Worth the journey time, money and tiredness afterwards haha. We would definitely recommend LEGOLAND and an over night stay to anyone considering visiting.
