Our Arrival & First Impressions

Selfie opportunity

On arrival it looked like a small family farm with reasonable prices. Seeing they had cow fishing made the day mysterious and exciting.

Activities Breakdown

On arrival we brought buckets of feed for the animals and you get to keep the bucket. We also paid to go fishing for cows and ginuea pigs. Cow fishing was first up, we were given rods with bundles of hay on the end and went up onto a platform. From there we 'fished' for cows, the cows were so friendly and happily came over to eat they were quite strong so you have to hold tight. Next up was ginuea pig fishing again we were given rods but this time we had lettuce on them, very eager ginuea pigs came to eat. After that we headed over for pig racing, we all picked our pig and the race was off, Harry Trotter won(not my pig 🫣). We then had lunch under the shade of the trees while a magician performed for the children. After that we went and fed loads of cute farm animals and completed the trail. The ponies and donkeys were a firm favourite with the donkeys shouting loudly at us when we left. There was a full schedule of activities for the children to do so no time to get bored. We hit the gift shop and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was very reasonably priced, bonus! All in all a fabulous day out and we will definitely be going again.
