Our Arrival & First Impressions
I'm Sam, mum to two boys — Ayden (3) and Aariv (9) — and when I saw advertising for Bubble Planet, I knew it would be perfect for the boys and for the big kids (me and my husband!). We visited on Sunday 7th January 2024 as an end-of-school-holiday treat. We'd considered going over Christmas but tickets were hard to get, so we booked an early January slot instead, aiming for a 10am session when it would be quieter. This worked perfectly — the venue wasn't overly busy, which made it much more enjoyable.
Booking through Fever was quick and easy, and I had a 10% discount code which was handy as tickets are £24.90 per adult and £18.90 for children aged 4–12. Under 4s go free, so Ayden's entry didn't cost a thing. We travelled from Canons Park on the Jubilee line to Wembley Park, then took a short 10-minute walk to the venue, which was easy to find using Google Maps. Tickets were scanned quickly at the entrance, and bag storage was available for £2 per item, though we opted to keep ours with us to save the cost. First impressions were great — the venue was bright, clean, and immediately felt like we were stepping into something special.
Activities Breakdown
Bubble Planet features 11 immersive rooms, all unique and interactive. We took our time and spent about two hours exploring, with some rooms entirely to ourselves, which made for fantastic photos and a genuinely relaxed pace. Every room offered something different — from hands-on play to optical illusions to creative activities — meaning both our 3-year-old and our 9-year-old were equally engaged throughout. Even my husband and I couldn't resist getting stuck in, and we were surprised how much fun we had ourselves. The variety and quality of the rooms meant there was never a dull moment, and having that early 10am slot gave us the space to really enjoy each one without feeling rushed.

The Giant Ball Pit
One of our absolute favourites — a huge ball pit complete with a figure in the middle, a giant bath duck, and plenty of props for fun photos. You remove your shoes and let your inner child loose. Ayden and Aariv loved 'swimming' through the balls while my husband snapped photos from every angle. - 2
Coloured Bubble Light Room
This room felt like stepping into an optical illusion, filled with mesmerising coloured bubble lights. The effect was stunning and made for incredible photos. Attendants were on hand to remind visitors not to touch the delicate lights, but the visual impact was breathtaking for both kids and adults. - 3
Creative Sea Creature Zone
The boys coloured in sea creatures which were then scanned and projected onto a giant screen alongside their names. They were absolutely thrilled to see their own artwork come to life on the big screen — it made them feel like little artists and was a genuinely magical moment. - 4
VR Bubble Chair Experience
An optional add-on at £3 per person where you sit in a bubble chair and feel as though you're floating. Aariv loved it, though it's recommended for ages 8+ so Ayden couldn't take part. A fun extra for older children that adds another dimension to the visit. - 5
Step Inside a Bubble
A brilliant interactive section where you can create a bubble around yourself and actually stand inside it. This was a real wow moment for both boys — the kind of thing you just can't do anywhere else. Simple, clever, and genuinely delightful for the whole family. - 6
Photo Area with Props
Swings, bathtubs filled with rubber ducks, and optical illusions made for a fantastic photo opportunity zone. We came away with a gallery of colourful, creative family photos that captured the joy of the day perfectly — having quieter rooms made this even better.
Food & Drink
There's no on-site café at Bubble Planet, which is worth knowing if you're visiting with young children who might need a snack or drink partway through. The experience lasts around two hours, so you'll want to plan accordingly — especially if you have little ones like our 3-year-old who might get hungry.
That said, the location is excellent for food options. We combined our visit with lunch at Boxpark Wembley, which is just a short walk away and has a wide choice of eateries to suit everyone — including even our picky eater Ayden. It was incredibly convenient to walk over after our time at Bubble Planet, and we'd definitely recommend factoring this in as part of your visit.
While it would have been nice to have a small café inside the venue for drinks or a quick snack, the proximity to Boxpark more than makes up for it. There are also other restaurants and cafés in the Wembley Park area, so you're not short of choices. If you're visiting in the morning like we did, the natural flow of Bubble Planet followed by lunch nearby makes for a really well-rounded family day out.
Money-Saving Tip
Book through Fever and look out for discount codes — we had a 10% code which took a decent chunk off the total. Under 4s go completely free, which saved us Ayden's ticket. Skip the £2-per-item bag storage by travelling light and keeping bags with you. And booking an early morning session means a quieter experience, better photos, and you're done in time for a relaxed lunch at Boxpark Wembley.

The venue was clean, well-staffed, and family-friendly throughout. Attendants were present in rooms to offer guidance and ensure visitors respected the installations. We felt completely comfortable letting the boys explore.
Eleven rooms of immersive, interactive activities kept our entire family engaged for two hours. From the giant ball pit to the creative zone to the VR experience, there was incredible variety and every room felt unique and well-designed.
No café on-site, which is the main drawback. However, Boxpark Wembley is just a short walk away and offers excellent family-friendly food options that more than make up for it. Easy to plan around if you know in advance.

My husband and I delighted in watching the boys' excitement, and even we couldn't resist diving into the fun ourselves. The experience was smooth and well-organised, with minimal queues, allowing us to explore at our own pace and capture some fantastic photos without feeling rushed. Although the tickets are a bit on the pricey side, the quality of the immersive experience truly justified the expense — especially with Ayden going free as an under-4. While we did wish there was a café on-site, the nearby Boxpark Wembley was a perfect spot for lunch, offering a variety of food options that catered even to our picky eater. This small inconvenience didn't detract from the overall joy of the day. Bubble Planet exceeded our expectations, offering a magical escape that entertained and engaged the whole family. We left with lasting memories and a gallery of colourful photos capturing our bubbly adventure. We'd highly recommend this unique experience to any family seeking a fun-filled, creative day out.
