My boys aged 8 and 5 loved Manor Farm Park & Woodlands in East Leake. There’s so much to do whatever the weather! It’s home to Nottinghamshire’s largest indoor adventure play centre, and they have 3 outdoor play areas. We loved the animals, donkey grooming, reptile talk, circus show and the 4pm Foam Fest. Everything was included in our ticket and best of all, we got free kids return tickets! Amazing value for a full day out!

Activities Breakdown

Multi-lane slides with mats
Foam Fest

I took my boys aged 8 and 5 to Manor Farm Park & Woodlands, and wow, there was SO much to do!

We had great weather during the summer holidays, but even in wet weather there’s plenty to do.

There’s a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor play with Manor Farm Park boasting they have the LARGEST indoor adventure play centre in Nottinghamshire. It was BIG! They even have 3 outdoor play areas!

We loved the pirate-ship, soft-play, wooden castle, huge multi-lane slides, fun ball cannons, pedal karts, indoor football, and the role-play village. We fed the animals, listened to a reptile talk, did donkey grooming, watched a circus show and to top it off, the boys had fun at the 4pm Foam Fest - I can’t believe all of this was included in our ticket! The boys had THE best time!

We even got free kids return tickets!! It was amazing value! We took advantage of the reduced VAT rates this summer, and with free kids returns it’s so so worth it.

We can’t wait to go back! There was so much more to do, we just didn’t get round to doing everything. We’re already planning our next trip back!

  1. 1

    Donkey grooming

Staff showed everyone how to brush the donkeys gently - the boys loved this hands-on experience. Perfect for animal lovers.

  2. 2

    Nottinghamshire’s Largest Indoor Play Centre

The indoor play centre was HUGE! There’s a pirate ship, wooden castle, soft play, indoor football, ball cannons, toddler play areas, a role play village, pedal karts, and massive multi-lane slides. It kept the boys busy for hours! Great whatever the weather.

    4pm Foam Fest

Don’t miss 4pm! The Foam Fest was the perfect end to the day. Don’t forget to bring your towels, a wet bag, a change of clothes, and some goggles, that is, if yours don’t like foam in their eyes. The boys were covered head to toe and absolutely LOVED it!

Food & Drink

I planned ahead and brought a picnic. We used the outdoor picnic tables near the entrance/ outdoor play area first, then headed inside near the soft play to finish off our food later. This kept our costs down.

Money-Saving Tip

Bring your own picnic food and sit at either the indoor/ outdoor picnic tables.

Overall Verdict & Ratings

C Tried & Tested - Day Out With The Kids
Safety & Cleanliness5.0

Hand washing stations situated throughout the farm. Safety briefings were given before donkey grooming, and there were clear signs up around Manor Farm Park to keep everyone safe.

Rides & Entertainment5.0

There are no big rides here, but the entertainment is amazing. The indoor play and outdoor play areas are great. Plus the daily activities, circus show and the Foam Fest kept everyone busy.

Food & Drink4.0

There's The Laughing Donkey Cafe inside the playbarn and Antlers Bistro near the entrance. We brought a picnic to save money and there are loads of picnic tables both indoors and outdoors.

Queues & Crowds4.0

We visited in the summer holidays, so it was busy, but not off-putting because there’s so much space to spread out. There were no queues for anything except when queuing for food.

Fun & Delight5.0

The boys had the best day! They didn’t want to leave and were talking about it all evening. They can’t wait to go back.

Value for Money5.0

We got a full day out and even got free return tickets. There’s so much to do! It’s great value!

The Final Verdict:

We had an amazing day - we’d 100% recommend Manor Farm Park. So much to do for all age groups, great value, and we stayed all day. The boys had the best time and are looking forward to going back. We’ll definitely be back to use our return tickets!
