Our Arrival & First Impressions
well I didn’t have a go on this one but miss evelyn enjoyed it very much!
Activities Breakdown
we had such a wonderful day filled with so much fun for us all.
we enjoyed a relaxing boat ride down the beautiful river Derwent and loved exploring Matlock bath aquarium which has quite good selection of fish which also has a arcade down stairs for all ages.
the woodland walk was peaceful and scenic with stunning views all around us. we also treated ourselves to some amazing fish and chips from Kostas fish bar 10/10 would recommend!
To finish the day we decided a park trip was perfect, big park with climbing frames sand pit one of the best parks we have been to.

Food & Drink
There is a wide range of different places to eat in Matlock bath, from pub food to fish and chips. there is alwys ice cream shops and a proper sweetshop ( cash only!!!)

not enough car parking spaces for when its warmer weather.

safe but as common sense watch your children near the river! very clean place> litter pickers were out at 10am when we arrived and was out all day.
very good with entertainment. you have aquariums, arcades, gillivers kingdom, heights of Abraham and loads of woodland walks all around
numerous places to eat
no queues
we loved every minute of it. we go for our annual day trip around the same time every year
good vale for money not expensive places to eat. one thing i will say is bring cash as a lot of business round there are cash only including the sweetshop.
The Final Verdict:
we took our niece with us as she had never been along with her mum and dad and we will definitely be coming again. i have been coming every summer since i was a child. 10/10 recommend to anyone for a day out!
