Take on a tree-top adventure at Go Ape Black Park, set among the peaceful woodland of Black Park Country Park in Buckinghamshire. Just 10 minutes from Slough and within easy reach of Windsor, Uxbridge and London, it is an excellent choice for families with older children, teenagers and adults who want an energetic day outdoors.
Your Treetop Challenge starts with a full safety briefing and harness fitting before you climb into the trees. The self-belay safety system keeps you in control as you tackle five sections of high ropes obstacles, including wobbly bridges, tricky crossings, zip wires and Go Ape's legendary Tarzan Swing.
The course is designed to test your balance, agility and nerve, with platforms up to 10m high and zip lines up to 150m long. Take the course at your own pace, encourage your group through the tougher sections and enjoy the satisfaction of completing a proper outdoor challenge together.
Treetop Challenge is for adventurers aged 10 and over who are at least 1.4m tall. It is ideal for family days out with older children, teen birthdays, group celebrations and adults looking to do something more memorable than the usual day out.
There is plenty more to enjoy at Black Park. Younger climbers can try Treetop Adventure, while families can also explore Nets Adventure, forest biking and the park's walking and cycle trails. Grab refreshments at the Four Seasons Cafe, enjoy a picnic or extend your day with a visit to nearby Windsor Great Park.
