A concrete park that has a banana-shaped bowl to one side and banks, quart ramps, mini ramps and volcanoes on the other side! Not forgetting concrete bowls and curved spines – all of these features make it an amazing skate park to visit. Whether you’re a dedicated beginner aiming to learn some really slick skate moves. Or you’re a super pro and want to show everyone how it’s done!

It’s the ideal skate spot for testing out the waters and practising your pro skills. Override even offers skateboard lessons, where you can learn the basic skills, progress to flat ground tricks transition riding and even more.

Run by a community group, including parents, it started off being a BMX biking session, but further developed to include indoor skating too! You’ll find legacy features like curved ramps, a bowl floor and plenty of space – you can channel your inner Tony Hawk with some slick and smooth skateboard shapes.

There is a 50,000-square-foot space big enough for everyone to cut some shapes! With a beginner section, an extended mini ramp, a rhythm section, a 40ft ridable tunnel and a really spectacular 165ft Las Vegas-themed street plaza!

The Projekts skate park is packed out with cool design features like jump ramps, quarter pipes and brilliant bowls! If you’re on the wild side and want to treat yourself and the kids to a really adventurous after-school activity, this is the place to be!

The park also has an outer looping section, a middle strip and a top-raised section. With so many features where you can flex your skills and zip and zoom down, you’ll be having an extremely fun time!

You’ll find a bowl section, ramp, street and a rhythm section, so whatever mood you’re in or whichever style you excel in – you’ll find an accompanying section. They even hold lessons for those who are trying skateboarding out, want to better their skills or reach the ultimate pro status!

There is also a large bowl ready to zoom and swerve in – it’s also not made out of concrete, but with wood. Making a nicer landing, but also you’ll find a smoother and faster surface to really get into your skates.

There’s a plaza-style street section, as well as a transition area. With feature banks, hips, stair sets, rails, kickers, flat and curved ledges and a pyramid! But that’s not all, there is also a pole jam and cool contours that you won’t find anywhere else!

As well as various features, you’ll find a variety of depths of mini ramps that form a pipe. With a really cool set up, there’s no doubt why this skate park is hugely popular and the place to be!

They hold Skate Jams and other events throughout the year where everyone can get together. Not forgetting the coaching sessions available for those who need a little help. The Lodge also hosts the South West Youth Games – an Olympic-style event that divides talented young people into teams to compete towards the overall Youth Games title!

With curved corners, concrete loops, mini ramps, barriers, rails and curved stones – there’s plenty to zip and zoom down and around. Whether it’s an after-school hobby to get some physical exercise in, a way to kill the weekend hours or a hobby that your kids really enjoy!

There’s even a peanut bowl, a street section and a bike jump for those who love to ride their BMX. Suitable for skaters aged 9 and over!
