The Chester Zoo Winter Lanterns & Light competition opens at 00:00 on 7th December 2025 and closes at 00:00 on 14th December 2025. Late or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Open to all residents of the UK aged 18 years and over, except employees of Day out with the kids and its group of companies and sponsor Chester Zoo (“Sponsor”). Entries limited to one per household regardless of the form of entry. Use of automated devices or methods of submission are not valid forms of entry. There will be 1 winner in total entitled to two adults and two children ‘anytime tickets’ to Chester Zoo’s Winter Lanterns & Light event, plus £100 in zoo vouchers to spend on your visit (the ‘anytime tickets’ permit entry at any given time before last entry on the selected day for the visit and cannot be redeemed on Christmas Eve or New Years Day and are non-transferable and non-refundable). The winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received and shall be notified by Chester Zoo by email and will be required to supply details of a UK delivery address. If a winner has not responded after 28 days, an alternative winner will be drawn. Chester Zoo will deliver the prize. Day out with the kids and Chester Zoo reserve the right to substitute any product with an alternative product of equivalent value. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
